Monticello’s Joanna Horowitz, CFA, was honored to moderate a thought-provoking panel hosted by the CFA Society New York titled, “Risky Business - Managing Today’s Risk for Tomorrow’s Uncertainty.” The discussion held amongst business leaders of risk management in the financial services industry touched on many topics including risk factors amongst organizations, business continuity risks, DLT and block-chain focused opportunities in digital transactions, and risk cultures. Monticello is aligned with the panelists’ view that effective risk management is a vital part of all financial services businesses future success, which should be addressed and managed proactively.
