Kala’s Day

6:15 AM - I wake up and have a huge glass of water. I then hit a yoga or SoulCycle class and get my workout out of the way first thing in morning. I also meditate for 15 minutes before I start my workday which helps me to be centered and grounded.

8:00 AM – I have a cup of Ginger Chai while reviewing emails and making a checklist of tasks that I need to prioritize. This helps me to be focused and efficient. Since I do intermittent fasting, I skip my breakfast.

8:30 AM – I review my emails and respond to the ones received early in the morning or late evening from the previous day. I also organize my day based on the calendar and prepare for meetings.

9:00 AM – My workday consists of coordinating meetings with various stakeholders for project documentation, escalations, project status updates and resolving impediments. I also document my analysis of business requirements and follow up on tasks and emails with stakeholders for the project milestones.

11.30 AM – I grab my first meal of the day and second cup of coffee or tea.

5:30 PM – I send an email to my manager communicating any issues and the latest project status updates.

5:45 PM – At the end of the day, I step outside to soak in some sun and the hustle and bustle of New York City. At times when I have early morning meetings, I hit a Pilates class in the evening. My husband and I cook dinner and have it together while watching a Netflix series.
